48-47 romney in the lead in ohio at least according to american research group. all right, well, now conservatives have gotten so confident and cocky they're calling the election. >> the reason i think it's over of course, i thought it was over last week and the week before. romney's going to win. part of the evidence is this was the most watched debate since 1980 when reagan ran against carter and there was only one debate that year. what happened that year? that was the first time in the last 100 years republicans took out an incumbent. >> they're calling it. let's see how it turns out. fox late in the day said you know what, we've got a new map of our projections. that looks awfully red doesn't it? >> that's because not only is new mexico and minnesota all of a sudden colored red this isn't reality, by the way but pennsylvania is also a red tate too haring to them. if pennsylvanias red this election really is over.

it ain't red. fox is amazing. they do the exact opposite of liberals. liberals are in a panic. they're oh, my god we're going to lose! the minute they had the tiniest lead in some of the polls, fox news is like it's over! it's over! we're walking away from this thing. they want to get people to show up get their base excited. in the meanwhile who are they getting excited over? mitt romney. who is the real mitt romney? we've been asking for a year and a half now. there's an article about how the romney team that reimagined romney again! this time, apparently led by ann romney and tag romney. apparently tag romney got sick of his dad waffling and listening to everybody and hearing them out. according to a family friend:

what's really interesting. of course, everybody remembers mr. 47%. >> that's the real mitt romney, who doesn't give a damn about 47% of this country and no debate changed that. what, he was a better actor in the debate than president obama so all of a sudden he cares about the 47% because he's found a new public persona? this is a load of crap. don't get fooled into thinking mitt romney is actually the better candidate. he's a horrible candidate! the fact that president obama laid down in that debate drives me crazy. now, second number of 47 is

unrelated but also happens to be 47. he was 47th in job creation among 50 states when he was the governor of massachusetts. on what grounds does mitt romney talk about job creation. you didn't create jobs under bain or when you were government of massachusetts. jobs, what are you talking about jobs for? you don't know anything about jobs, 47 out of 50 and we're in a fight with this guy? he's leading now? you're kidding me! part of the reason is progressives are more honest than conservatives. when conservatives lose a debate oh, no, we won we won. i don't care, we won. what do liberals do, they said you're right we lost. >> president obama was not prepared for his huge debate. this isn't about left, right good or bad it's about coming

i give an expression of care every day to each child to help him realize he is unique. i end the program by saying you've made this day a special day by just you're being you. there's no person in the whole world like you and i like you just the way you are. >> the head of that committee said he was so moved by that that he had goose burns and decided fine, we will give you the funding. i guess we know the tunes when is the last time anybody was actually swayed by an argument in congress no 1969 and mr. rogers did it. that's not what people are swayed by now. is it a legitimate offense for president obama to go down this route? there was something interesting in that ad that he did. there were three guys named, ken lay, the head of enron. but here's the problem.

obama administration didn't take down ken lay. he was taken down during the bush administration. kozlowski was prosecuted during the bush administration. bernie madoff, his son turned him in under the bush administration. where are the heads of j.p. morgan and country wide, all these companies that caused that epic collapse, also under the bush administration? did they get prosecuted under the obama administration? the definitive answer is hell no. they didn't get prosecuted so much, president obama couldn't find a single one prosecuted under his watch that he could put in that ad. so what's sad is unfortunately president obama isn't that much better than mitt romney on this issue. i wish he was tough on wall street so that that ad could make a ton of sense. look is mitt romney going to let off wall street even more? of course! of course!

he's going to get rid of dodd frank. it's incredibly weak and mitt romney instead of wanting weak regulations wants none. is it right to compare sesame street and wall street? absolutely. it gives you a sense of their priorities. here's what i wish the add focused on. pbs gets $23.2 million from the government. big deal. do you know how much sheldon adelson would get under mitt romney's tax plan? a savings of over $2 billion, 22 million versus $2 billion. that's just one guy. that's the real big bird. now, that's not all. how about bush's tax cuts no romney wants to extend them and add 20% on top. if you just extended the bush tax cuts it would add a trillion dollars to our deficit. why? mcmitt romney is looking out for the rich, speaking of which, how about the iraq war?

mitt romney was in favor of it, the entire republican party. how much did that cost? is this estimates have it as high as $5 trillion. and you're talking to me about big bird? you're talking to me about big bird? $22 million you want to cut and your dumb ass war cost $5 trillion. your tax cuts for sheldon adelson cost $2 billion. i'm not having the conversation about big bird and cutting down his nest until we talk to the other guys first. on the essence of that, the obama campaign is right. >> when we come back, the republicans are so loathesome they've now got a lobby to make sure that we are not protected from cancer. >> we have 15 homes in this area and maybe 11 people have died or more with cancer.

did when mitt romney was running it in this reward? >> so this is bain and company the consulting firm that sort of gives advice to other big corporations, if it doesn't take them over and loot them for all they're worth and lay off all the employees the big critique with bain capitol. mitt started rung bain and co. one of the first clients was phillip morris. they quickly moved into the russian market, post soviet phase where all the big factories are being privatized and going into the economy. bain under romney gets a contract with the united states government a $3.9 million contract to go be and advicer in russia. they think that the russian economy could handle a 33%

larger load of smoking than it's currently happening, because the soviet economy is not good at marketing. they start advicing big tobacco companies on how to take over those newly privatized assets. they end up helping british american tobacco buy a couple of factories in russia so this big national conglomerate which had no presence at all in russia is now today one of the largest companies in the country with a 25% stake of the market and the most popular brand in the country while smoking rates have been skyrocketing in russia. >> it's interesting, they got a government contract. i'm told by the republicans they hate government contracts but when they're profiting for one it's funny how they'll take one. why does the government care about phillip morris selling more cigarettes in russia? why is that our government's

business? >> bain is working with british american tobacco. our government wasn't particularly interested in multi-national tobacco countries. they were interested in taking state owned communist resources and making them available to the public so they could be in the hands of market economy giving the russians a take in their economy. what actually happened was the opposite all the russian assets ends up in the hands of the oligarchs. bain and company, in the first two years of this privatization project is doing 40% of all the sales in moscow and russia where the biggest deals are done, but thousands of these deals. then they leverage these contacts that the u.s. government has funded them with into sweetheart deals for big tobacco companies. >> of course mitt romney is a

mormon and wouldn't smoke himself, but doesn't mind pushing it to hundreds of millions of russian. how did they advertise cigarettes to take off more. >> bain is really good as doing these very dry statistical market analysis. they go into russia with these top experts and performed that analysis. it's really hard to do it there because it's hard to get the research. they don't have the infrastructure. they've got these wall street guys running around russia in a van offering free cigarettes and mcdonald's hamburgers to locals in a different town. what could we do to make this more appealing to you. what could we do to make you smoke more. they figure out exactly what russians want and suggest marketing campaigns about

the debates that they're basically the same thing it's not doing it for us. i live in massachusetts and we know it's neither affordable nor caring, when you get sick, you find out you're not covered. medicare for all is basically what's working right now, that is medicare, providing comprehensive health care. what we want to do is just drop the eligibility age so that you're covered from the moment of conception, and basically that's the what it does. it shrinking that massive wasteful insurance bureaucracy that's now eating up 30% of your health care dollar. instead, that actually goes into health care to provide great care, like every other developed country around the world virtually is providing at half the cost of what we're paying per cap at a and it saves trillions of dollars over the coming decade, because it gets

rid of medical inflation which is what keeps driving up your cost. >> we're number 37 in the world. if we go with your proposal, we might be 38 or 39. >> exactly. >> you know that medicare is something that's incredibly popular not just based on the polls, but even when the republicans look to change it, they go i'm not going to do it for current seniors because they love it. can you imagine if we had a health care program that we all loved? wouldn't that be amazing? the second topic the big banks we are told those guys are necessary to the economy. there's nothing we can do about that. what kind of reform would you do in the financial industry? >> well, instead of bailing out the banks, we should be breaking them up, and separating the commercial from the investment banks and creating publicly owned banks that can actually do the job that the banks are not doing. we're bailing them out to the

tune of 4.5 trillion in dollars given away, plus 16 trillion in zero interest loans which also costs us. beheard they began the third quantitative easing to bail them out again for the fourth time. we should be bailing out the students and homeowners. we want to break up the banks create the public banks and tax wall street so they, too be paying a sales tax. why should they be the only economic sector that is not paying? that would bring money into our economy for things that we need. >> not just since 2007, but over the last two years average income has declined. that's a huge problem for president obama. is that fair to say that's his fault, because he bailed out the banks just like bush did and didn't give any relief to the homeowners. >> exactly no relief to the

homeowners, as to the students who are basically a generation of in dentured servants. this transpacific partnership is nafta on summer recognized off shoring our jobs and undermining wages. he is giving away the store to wall street over and over again without actually doing the things we can do. we're calling for a green new deal which would use our dollars for creating jobs directly not for more tax breaks for the job creators to create more jobs in india and china. he has his priorities mixed up. he does need to be held accountable not only for shipping jobs overseas, bailing out wall street, allowing student and homeowner debt to skyrocket, expanding the wars. it was george bush's date of withdrawal that actually brought our troops home from iraq, it

brutality. here's the story about that. >> people who were there are now firing back at the police response. in the video, you can see officers wielding batons, force the department says was necessary to control the crowd which police say had been drinking. monday the bride's friend tweeted your actions at saturday night's hotel fight were despicable. shame on you. >> now we know who started at a that massive fight at the wedding. michael and anna, let me start with you. >> i wanted to mention something about the police brutality. cops actually had to ask for back up several times because the brawl was so massive and they couldn't keep control of all the people, so i think that it's kind of understandable that they reacted in the way that they did so just that quick point. also, this is perfect evidence for why i don't want to have a
